A breast cancer diagnosis arrives with a flood of information and very little time to absorb it. Dr. Mabry's first job is to slow that down: to explain what the imaging and pathology actually say, what the options are, and what each one means for you.
Her training spans academic surgery, a dedicated oncoplastic fellowship with Dr. Melvin Silverstein at USC, and years at the John Wayne Cancer Institute, where she helped train surgical oncology fellows. She brings that rigor to a community practice where patients are known by name.
Surgery is one part of breast cancer care. She works alongside Mercy Health's medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, genetic counselors, and reconstructive surgeons so the whole plan fits together.

Discuss the options, their benefits, and their risks in words you can repeat to your family. Coordinate with the rest of the care team so nothing is left to chance.
Carefully executed surgery with a practical recovery plan, clear instructions, and follow-up that keeps you connected to the team.
